Goodbye and I love you

Mire dita,

I leave on Sunday for ALBANIA!!!! I could not be more excited. People always ask if I am scared or nervous but for some strange reason I feel neither yet. On Sunday I go to Philadelphia where I will meet up with the other 38 health volunteers in my group. We will spend two days in Philadelphia and then it is on to Elbasan, Albania where I will be living for the next 3 months of training. When the 3 month training is complete, let’s hope I can speak enough Albanian where I can at least find the bathrooms, I will move yet again to the site where I will be living for the next two years.

Please keep in touch; I will try to bother you all enough so that you will not forget me.

Love Maggie

Maggie,
I wish you all the best, and you are doing the wright thing, and you don't have to worry for nothing. Even in USA there are a lot of non secure places. In Albania you will find the most hosting people in the world.

Bye,

Hey Maggie
You inspire me and strengthen me. You also make me cry and let me laugh, the great thing is, you can do all this from Albania or from anywhere in the universe. Enjoy, learn, love, and become even more wise. I will see you in Albania, see if there are any good rivers to canoe! I love you.

Hey Maggie,

Marie and I were thrilled to hear from you once again. We are both very excited for you in your new adventure. If the people that you are going to be working with will allow themselves the opportunity, they are going to be thrilled to a have as special of a person as you are working with them. Their gain is definitely our loss. I'll send more about us later, but I have to agree with the comments your dad made. Forget the canoeing, where do we set up the diving board!
